7:30 – 8:00 PM

Easy slow dances that most beginners can do without a lot of instruction. New beginners are always welcome.

8:00- 8:30 PM

1 or 2 beginner dances will be taught or reviewed.

8:30- 10:00 PM

Usually 1 or 2 intermediate/advanced dances are taught or reviewed. Dances are usually taught one week and reviewed the following week or two. In addition, we are open for requests throughout the evening.

Requests

We use a Request Sheet – just write down the name of the dance. If you can't remember the name of a dance we have a database with over 1400 dances to choose from.

Floor/Room

We dance in the JCC gym, on a wood parquet floor. The gym is air-conditioned for the summer and heated in the winter.

Refreshments

We serve free refreshments: soft drinks, coffee, tea, cookies, pretzels and popcorn. Occasionally there are fruits like apples, grapes, or watermelon, or sometimes humus, salsa and chips, ice cream, and cake.

Children

Children under 14 are welcome if accompanied by a parent. They can dance or watch.
